Located on the southern perimeter of Grant Park, near the crowded corner of Roosevelt Road and Michigan Avenue, One Grant Park, renamed NEMA, is now the tallest residential skyscraper in Chicago, at 273 meters high.
The building’s volume, consisting of square structural spans of different heights, evokes the famous Willis Tower, balancing the mix of heights on the Chicago Loop’s downtown skyline.
Another creation by Rafael Viñoly, the building has a rigorous design, although different from the slender white monolith of 432 Park Avenue in New York.
ARAN World has been selected to furnish the 127 residences on the upper floors, called the Skyline Collection.
